Rachel Faas, MFT Trainee
I believe that we hold an inner capacity toward healing. Through art, play, and talk therapy, you can learn to regulate emotions and define your values. I invite you to explore and experience what it means to be an expert of your own life. Hello, I’m Rachel Faas, an Art Therapist and MFT Trainee. Meet me at our San Jose location, or via telehealth.
I am completing my Master’s in Art Therapy from Dominican University of California. I am currently training at the Process Therapy Institute. My supervisor is Kristen Bragg (LMFT 53534). I am trained in sand tray therapy, a technique that provides emotional release for adults and children. I work with children, teens, and adults on building self-esteem, creating agency, and making meaning out of life. With both children and adults, play and art therapy offer a way to process trauma, emotions, and experiences in a remarkable way. My clinical experiences include working with those who face challenges such as high sensitivities, ADHD, anxiety, and struggles with emotion regulation.
